How To Uninstall App On Mac: It is quite easy to uninstall an app on Mac as compared to a Windows PC. You could uninstall an app on a mac by dragging its icon from the application folder to the Trash.
Stubborn Mac software might resist this simple method. In your Windows OS, programs or apps are installed with a unique installer wizard, and often but not, Windows programs need this installer wizard to remove this application.
On your Microsoft PC, software developers have been given the freedom to install pieces of their programs in any location across the C: boot drive. This poses a security risk, and it also makes uninstalling executable programs a stressful task.
Mac, on the other hand, makes things differently when you want to Uninstall App On Mac. The launch of Mac OS X in 2001 added a feature in which System files were
separated from the user’s workspace. Mac programs are naturally stored in /Applications directory while the Programs configuration is kept in ~/Library/Preferences.
Most times, essential supporting files are stored in the ~/Library/Application Support and /Library/Application Support. Programs that are in the Application folder are just bundles of multiple files combined.
All a Mac user has to do here double-click on the Program’s icon – or click once for a shortcut in the Dock – and the Program will launch, getting all the resources it requires that is stored in the application package and any other place.

The phrase Third-Party says a lot. It isn’t a recommended method, they are some third-party apps that do more harm than good, and some are excellent tools; most still do the job.
Some third-party applications in this section include CleanMyMac X, Uninstaller, AppCleaner, AppDelete, and CleanApp.
Using AppCleaner To Uninstall Mac Applications
I saw an instruction somewhere which recommends AppCleaner, so I’ll give you a tutorial on AppCleaner. It is quite easy to use, and it is free also.
Step 1: Download and Install the AppCleaner Here https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/25276/appcleaner.
Step 2: Launch the AppCleaner.

Step 4: AppCleaner will scan your Mac and find all associated files. “Mark” the files you want AppCleaner to delete.
Step 5: Click the “Remove” button. You may be asked to log in to your administrator account to authenticate the delete.
AppCleaner then moves the app, and it’s associated files to the Trash.
Access your Trash from your Mac Dock and delete it completely.
AppCleaner has what it calls “SmartDelete” this option can be found in its preference menu. It saves you the stress of “checking” every Folder AppCleaner removes.
How To Clean Up Leftover Files From Your Mac
On very rear occasions, most applications leave random data bits. These bits aren’t usually a problem, but to be sure and for space efficiency, you could delete these files completely.
You can do this using two methods
Removing Leftovers Automatically
The best way to do this is with a third-party utility application, and AppCleaner(Instructions are above) does this.
Removing Leftover Manually
If you don’t want to use a third-party app to remove leftovers, you can do this by searching for them yourself. This method isn’t hard, just technical a bit.
The leftover bits of data are mostly found in your “Library Folder” steps below.
Step 1: Open your Finder Application
Step 2: Click on the “Go” section in the top menu bar of the Finder window.
Step 3: Click and hold down your Option key. A new folder opens titled “Library.” Click on Library.
What is required of you now is “Searching for Individual Files.” Every type of file is found in its Folder.
Application Files = Application Support
Caches = Caches Folder
Preference = Preference Folder
You have the option to delete the individual files or subfolders here.
