Slow-motion is the action of showing a video playback or film in a more slow way than it was recorded. TikTok slow motion is an effect that makes videos recorded on TikTok appear slower.

This is a detailed guide on how to use slow motion in tik tok.

Step 1: Launch the app

From your mobile phone, open the TikTok app. I presume you are ready for the video already?

Step 2: Start recording

Click the “Plus +” sign to start the recording. Often the rear camera is opened. If you want the front camera, tap the switch to work that.

Step 3: Pick a song (optional) 

You know what you want if you are to use a song, a slow song will do the job.

Step 4: Click the speed effect

A speedometer often represents it. It is denoted with “Speed.”

Step 5: Pick the speed limit

A menu pointing out all the speeds available will show. The default option is 1x. This is the standard speed for recording.

To get the slow-motion, pick any option from 0.5x below. That’s the left of 1x.

Step 6: Record 

Press the Red button to begin recording your video.

Step 7: Pick a filter

You can also choose a filter to use on your just recorded video.

From the upper right corner, click on “Next,” caption your video then post it to your profile.
