Ways To Compress PDF Files
I’ll show you two ways to compress your pdf files, the first has to do with you going online, the next has to do with a third party app.
Compressing PDF Online
All you have to do here is visit any of the sites I’ll mention below then you are good to go.
Step 1: Open any of the links below in a new tab.
Step 2: Locate and click the ‘Upload Button‘.
Step 3: After clicking the upload button it then opens your file manager(Mobile devices) or File Explorer(Windows Pc Users)
Step 4: Locate the pdf file you wish to convert and double click for Pc users or long click then click open for mobile users(Varies with browsers)
Step 5: Wait for the pdf file to be compressed, a meter should show the progress.
Step 6: Download the compressed pdf file.
Compress A PDF File With Adobe Pro
Another way to compress your PDF file is with Adobe pro.
Step 1: Open your Adobe.
Step 2: Open the PDF file you have in mind, you do this by clicking on File -> Open then select the PDF file.
Step 3: Click on File again.
Step 4: Scroll down to ‘Save As Other‘.
Step 5: A drop down menu should open, click on ‘Reduced Size PDF…‘.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Make compatible with:‘ drop down menu.
Step 7: Now, Click on Adobe’s most recent version; It’s not rocket science, the latest the version the more effective the compression will be.
Step 8: Adobe will not ask you to choose where to save the newly compressed PDF.
Step 9: Click on save after choosing a storage location.
