You could simply type “Sign in options” in the search box then click the Sign-in Options. Now skip to Step 5.

Step 3:
Open Account; From the options there, select “Account“. If you can’t find it, use the search box to find it.

Select Sign-in; From the Account menu, select the “Sign-in options” option.

Click Change; Under the Password option, click on “Change“.

Step 6:
If you are requested, sign in with your current Microsoft Password(Connect your PC to the internet) input your MS password. This option comes up when you are setting up a NEW password.

If you are requested to enter your current password, do this and skip to Step 9.

Step 7:
Microsoft will text you a confirmation code to your mobile device to confirm the number you’ll be required to input the last four digits of The phone number associated with the Microsoft Account then press Enter.

Step 8:
Enter confirmation code; Microsoft sends you a code, input it in the box given.

Step 9:
Change your password; A new window pops open, input your old password in the box given.

In the two boxes under, fill in your new password and a second time to confirm it.

It is advised you input a password hint. Make this hint unique and in a way only you will understand.

I actually use a hint that doesn’t in any way connect to my password, if someone attempts using my PC, they’ll definitely sleep there trying to guess it.

Step 10:
Confirm your password; Click on “Next” to confirm your password.

Step 11:
On the next page, click on Finish and close every open window.

How To Set Up A PIN Security In Windows 10

You might be requested to fill your Microsoft password or your current PIN. Click on Next or Sign in when done.

Fill your new pin. Note: PIN is always 4 NUMBERS. Make this 4 number hard to guess but easy to remember.

Change Passwords Of Another Account In Windows 10 With Control Panel

Note: You must be logged in as an administrator to do this.

Step 1:
Access your Windows menu; Strike your Windows key or with your cursor select the windows icon at the lower left of your screen.

Step 2:
In the search box, type “Control Panel” and choose the Control Panel option.

Tip: once the windows menu shows, if you start typing control panel, the option will show.

Step 3:
If the icons in the Control Panel aren’t clear, click on “Large icons” from the “View By” drop-down menu.

Step 4:
Click on “User Accounts“. Then tap Manage another account.

Step 5:
Select the account whose password you wish to change.

Step 6:
To the left of the screen, select the “Change The Password” option.

Step 7:
In the boxes provided, fill in your current password, new password, and the new password again.

Fill in a hint also.

Step 8:
Click on “Change Password” at the lower right-hand side to confirm it.

Change Password In Windows 10 With No Current Password

As at the time of writing this article, I was able to change my Windows 10 password without being required to input my CURRENT or OLD password.

Note: You must be logged in as an administrator to do this.

Step 1:
Simultaneously, press the Windows Key and R key to open the Run box.

Step 2:
Type “netplwiz” (without quotations) in the text box and hit Enter.

Step 3:
From the User Accounts Window, click on any account whose password you wish to change.

Step 4:
Click the “Reset Password” button at the lower right-hand side.

Enter the new password in the first box and enter it again in the second box provided.

Step 6:
Click on “OK” to confirm these changes.
