
How To Add Footnotes In Google Docs: I’ll be showing you how to add footnotes in google docs on both the ios and android app and on your pc’s browser.

Step 1: Tap on your screen to position your cursor where you want your footnote.
Step 2: Tap the + near the top of the screen to access the Insert menu.
Step 3: Scroll through the menu items that display, then tap on Footnote.
Step 4: Type your footnote text.

To Add Footnotes On The Google Docs Using A Browser(Pc or Mobile)
- Locate and place your cursor at the point you want to add a footnote.
- Choose the option ” Insert | Footnote” or use shortcut key “Ctrl-Alt-F”.
- Type your footnote text.
Summary
When you go ahead to print your document the footnote will appear where you placed it. Same thing happens when you download it as a pdf
If you download your file as a MS Word, OpenOffice, RTF, or HTML file, the footnotes will appear as endnotes at the end of the document.
