this pin in question isn’t your regular phone password, its a pin given to you by your network provider, its purpose is to help you secure transactions which may include

Transferring of your credit from one line to the next, sharing or gifting of data and etc and etc, without much ado lets jump in.

below is a list of Network providers and the default pins.

How To Change Transfer Pin On MTN

MTN’s default pin is = 0000, You can change mtn share and sell pin by sending a text message with ‘Default PIN New PIN New PIN to 777‘. For example, to change the default PIN from 0000 to 1234,you send an SMS with ‘0000 1234 1234’ to 777.

GLO’s default pin is = 00000, You can change the default pin by Dial 132*00000*New*Pin*New Pin# For example if you want your new pin to be 12345 dial 132000001234512345#

AIRTEL’s default pin is = 1234, You can change the default pin by sending a text in the following format to 432: PIN 5555 to 432 E.g. to change password to 4321, the text sent will read — PIN 1234 4321 to 432 . You will then receive an SMS confirmation from 432.

How To Change Transfer Pin On 9Mobile(Former Etisalat)

9Mobile’s default pin is = 0000, You can change the default pin by dialing 2470000NEWPIN#. And your new PIN must be a 4-digit number. For instance, if you wish to change from 0000 to 2321, then dial 24700002321#.
