Steps To Activate Dark Mode For Gmail On Desktop

From your desktop browser, visit the official Gmail site at https://gmail.com.
If you aren’t signed in, fill in the form provided, if you are, you’ll be presented with your inbox.
At the top right corner of your screen, locate and click the “Settings” button, an icon represents it, a drop-down menu appears.
Select the “Theme” option. It is usually in the third section of the drop-down menu.
Scroll down till you pass the “Picture Themes.” In the next section, you’ll be given themes containing “colors.”
Locate the “Dark Option,” if you hover over it with your cursor, it label shows “Dark.”
If you wish to remove the dark feature, follow the above instructions, and choose the default Gmail theme, it is usually the option before the “Dark” theme.
Steps To Set Up Night Mode On Your Gmail For Android
Thou system-wide dark mode isn’t available for most Android versions, with the LATEST Gmail Application, one can get that “Dark” feel. Follow the instructions below.
If you aren’t sure of your Gmail app version, visit your google play store – > Type in “Gmail” -> If you have the latest version, the Update button won’t show, it isn’t, click on the Update button to install and update.

Select the “General Settings” option.

Steps To Activate Dark Mode For Gmail In iOS.
As at the date of publishing this article, Gmail’s Dark mode isn’t available for iOS devices. Until Apple updates it’s server-side, they likely won’t be a dark mode for Gmail.
When it is available, we will update this article, and rumors have it that, activating the system-wide dark mode will suffice for the Gmail dark mode.
When it eventually gets available, setting it up will be the same instructions as in an Android device.
